If I ever have out of town guests this is where I take them. In all fairness, I have eaten at this restaurant ever since they opened. This is the only place where I did not cringe upon hearing the staff sing. I don't know who told told the staff there was a birthday, but they came out with spumoni and sang. It is such a simple concept that has forced me to stop going to so many restaurants where you simple cannot ever get a hot meal. One thing I have always found at this restaurant is they bring the food out when it is hot. They never fail to deliver the best lasagna. This is the only Italian restaurant where I will order lasagna. The problem with this restaurant is I always want what everyone else is having. The salads were as expected and the Italian bread was great. The 9 year old was not a fan of the Gnocchi and the staff replaced it with spaghetti about as fast as humanly possible. We had the tour of italy, spiedini samantha, lasagna, and the 9 year old ordered Gnocchi Alla Pesto. We ordered an appetizer along with the meal. We made reservations and arrived a little early. We ate at this restaurant as a group of 4 for a birthday. We did notice most of the employees we saw were wearing their face coverings but the server waiting on the large group was not wearing his face covering correctly with his nose fully exposed. We will probably avoid dining here again as long as COVID-19 is a threat. I do not understand why the staffed were compelled to seat large party so close to us. The dining room is very small and cramped but there were several empty tables. Obviously behaviors which should not take place during the pandemic. The group next to us had people coming over to their table shaking hands and hugging one another. The food was great as usual, however, the party next to us were so loud my buddy and I could not carry on a conversation at our table. We finally flagged down a server and got our order in. We still had not been waited on by a server and were thinking maybe we should just get up and leave. 15 minutes later a large group (7) guests were seated directly next to us. We were happy with this given the COVID-19. The host took us to a booth in a far corner of the dining room and there were empty tables around us. The dining room was not crowded when we arrived around 7:40pm on Friday, November 27th.
